Registration
The course is divided into two parts to give some flexibility for registration. It is highly recommended that the two parts be taken together to gain the full benefit. Registering for the two parts together also benefits from a discounted rate. However, the course materials have been arranged to make it possible for attendees with narrow interests to attend only one part of the course.
Attend Part I Only
This could make sense for power system engineers who are only interested in system studies using black-box models of converter-interfaced resources, and do not need to understand or examine particular system stability problems, including their behaviors, root causes, or mitigation methods.
Attend Part II Only
This could make sense for design engineers of PV inverters, wind turbines, HVDC converters and other converter-interfaced resources who already know how to model the immittances of their products and want to learn about how to improve their products for system stability.
